Project: Sound Design - Visualizer
Sound design project developed during the EPSAA post-graduate program, in collaboration with Noemie Kohl.
For this project, we wanted to create a sound design intended to accompany an advertising animation for a brand, whether in jewelry or fashion. The sound narrative follows the journey of a pearl through the sea. Our intention was to create a magical, dreamlike atmosphere within an underwater world. To achieve this, we integrated sound effects linked to underwater interactions in order to bring this environment to life.We also researched references to define the type of sound we wanted. The synthesizer sound was particularly important to us, so Noemi attempted to recreate it using MIDI. We then assembled everything in Ableton and tested different instruments to see which ones worked best together.
